Official, legal subtitles for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s are now available mostly internationally!

Chrunchyroll just announced and added the first 64 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, in Japanese with English subtitles to their library of streamed anime. The first half is available to all users, and the second half will be available to non-Premium users next week.

Sadly, not everyone can enjoy this. Some countries are blocked, either because they are not part of 4K Media’s territory, or because of various rights/contract issues, check the link to see which countries are excluded.

If you’re in the US, you can still watch the show subbed on Hulu.com, where a good chunk of the following 5D’s seasons are available.

5D’s had a lot of alterations (and errors) in it’s English language version, more than other Yu-Gi-Oh! series. This gives everyone who is curious a fair chance to check out 5D’s the way it was meant to be seen, with the original soundtrack, story, pacing, and visuals intact.
